CCPA Compliance

NGL LAW is committed to respecting your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how these laws apply to our informational website and how you can exercise your rights.

Scope and Applicability

The CCPA/CPRA applies to California residents. While NGL LAW does not collect personal information through user registration or account creation, we may automatically collect certain data through website interactions, including cookies, web beacons, and analytics tools. This data may include IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and usage patterns that could be linked to a specific California resident.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information collected by NGL LAW, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. While we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, we may share data with third-party analytics and advertising partners under the definition of 'sharing' under CPRA.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your CCPA/CPRA rights.
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

How We Comply

NGL LAW does not maintain a user database or collect personally identifiable information through forms, logins, or subscriptions. Our data collection is limited to anonymized or aggregated analytics data used solely to improve website performance and content relevance. We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary for operational functionality and legal compliance.

Data We Process

The personal information we may collect includes:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Cookie identifiers
  • Geolocation data (general region only)

This data is collected via third-party tools such as Google Analytics and is not linked to your name, email, or other direct identifiers.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under CCPA/CPRA, we rely on legitimate business purposes to process this data, including website functionality, analytics, security, and improving user experience. We do not process personal information for purposes unrelated to our core operations.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, please contact us via email at [email protected] with the subject line: 'CCPA Request'. Include your full name, California residency confirmation, and the specific right you wish to exercise. We may require verification of your identity before fulfilling your request.

Response Timeframes

We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond fully within 45 days. If additional time is needed, we will notify you and explain the reason for the delay. Extensions are limited to one additional 45-day period.

No Discrimination Policy

NGL LAW will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under CCPA/CPRA. You will not be denied access to our content, charged different fees, or receive a lower quality of service because you opted out, deleted your data, or requested access.
